Porsche may be best known for its luxury sports cars, but its SUVs are truly something else. If a two-seater isn’t right for you, there are two Porsche SUVs available at Porsche Silver Spring that may just be up your alley.
Porsche Cayenne
The Porsche Cayenne equips a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 335 horsepower. If you opt for the S trim, output increases to 434 horsepower via the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6. The Turbo trim comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 541 horsepower.
The comfort in the Porsche Cayenne is fantastic, and the amenities are aplenty. Standard features include leather upholstery, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. In terms of technology, four USB ports, navigation, and front and rear parking sensors are equipped.
Cargo space measures in at a maximum 60.3 cubic feet with the rear seat folded flat. With it in place, there is 27.1 cubic feet of storage room.
Porsche Macan
The Porsche Macan is the second SUV from Porsche. Its base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit that produces 248 horsepower. The S trim features a 3.0-liter V6 worth 348 horsepower, while the top-of-the-line Turbo model boasts a 434-horsepower 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6.
This new Porsche SUV also seats five people, and eight-way power-adjustable front seats and a combination of leather and suede upholstery come standard. Every Porsche Macan model offers numerous technology features, including a 10-speaker sound system, satellite radio, and a navigation system. A rearview camera and rain-sensing windshield wipers are also standard.
The 2020 Porsche Macan is slightly smaller than the Porsche Cayenne in size, as it features 17.6 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the rear row. With the second-row collapsed, 52.9 cubic feet of storage space is available.
