An Overview of the Porsche Approved (Certified Pre-Owned) Program

While buying a pre-owned vehicle can come with uncertainty, you can rest assured that you're getting one you can trust with a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Also known as Porsche Approved (CPO) vehicles, these are premium pre-owned cars that offer extra peace of mind. We're taking a closer look at Porsche Silver Spring. 

Initial Criteria

We only consider the top pre-owned Porsche models for the Porsche Approved (CPO) title. They must be a pre-owned Porsche car or SUV that is less than 13 years old. They also have to have less than 124,000 miles on the odometer. 

Multi-Point Inspection 

If a vehicle meets our initial criteria, it must also meet our exacting standards. Each vehicle goes through a 111-point inspection, checking everything from its mechanical systems to its cosmetic appearance. The inspection is completed by our factory-trained Porsche service technicians, who will then carefully recondition anything that doesn't measure up. 

Warranty Coverage

In the off-chance that something does go wrong, you can rest easy that you're protected in your CPO Porsche vehicle. All new Porsche vehicles are covered with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which lasts for four years, or up to 50,000 miles (whichever comes first). 

Our Porsche Approved (CPO) vehicles offer added peace of mind. They are also covered by a two-year CPO Limited Warranty Coverage, with unlimited mileage, that kicks in once the New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires. If the new warranty has already expired, the CPO Limited Warranty starts the day of purchase. You also have the option of a one-year extension if you want even more protection. 

24-Hour Roadside Assistance

As an added perk, Porsche CPO drivers are also protected with 24-hour Roadside Assistance, which is available seven days a week and 365 days a year. Your 24-Hour Roadside Assistance lasts for the duration of the Porsche Limited Warranty. The coverage is good for: 

• Battery jump start
• Flat tire service
• Emergency fuel delivery
• Lockout service
• Extrication or winch service
• Trip interruption coverage
